Paul Häder is blogging

Paul is a friend of mine from school. In 9th grade or so we collaborated on an encryption tool based on, umm, the XOR algorithm, implemented in, umm, PowerBASIC. Hadn’t heard from him for a while – he just said hi in my comments. He writes about Java and tech stuff, with the odd soccer link thrown in for fun.

Maybe we should revive the project and make a Web 2.0 version ;-).

  3. My trackback ping didn’t quite excerpt my post in a meaningful manner. Anyway, I wanted to bring your attention to technology that enables me to bind to SQL, XML, and SPARQL data from Ajax for reuse in Mashups (as demonstrated in my first batch of SQL oriented demos).

We are also nearing the completion of our SQL-RDF mapping that will more than likely be syntax compatible with D2RQ as part of our Virtuoso product:

I don’t know how much you know about Virtuoso, but it has been providing Virtualization across SQL, XML, and Web Services data sources for a many years, and the emergence of SPARQL has provided us with a standard query syntax, protocol, and results serialization for exposing Virtualized data that has been mapped to RDF.
